Alyssa is a member of HMB’s Private Client, Trusts and Estates Group. She focuses her practice on estate planning and administration, asset protection and trust administration and litigation.
Alyssa partners with individuals and families, helping them to create estate plans that protect their assets, pass on wealth to future generations and accomplish their unique goals. She prioritizes getting to know her clients, from their asset profile to their family dynamic, to provide comprehensive advice.
Working with executors, trustees and financial institutions in probate proceedings and trust and estate administrations, Alyssa advises on the various aspects of serving as a fiduciary. She advises trustees in handling accountings, investments, tax compliance and the day-to-day aspects of serving as a fiduciary. Alyssa works with clients to proactively address disputes, and when disputes cannot be avoided, she has litigated matters to advance her client’s position with a goal toward resolving the dispute quickly.
Clients appreciate that Alyssa takes the time to develop a relationship and deep understanding of their goals and values. They rely on her for pragmatic advice that anticipates their values and is focused on the big picture.
