Tim anticipates his clients' needs so they can concentrate on the big picture with confidence their goals are being met proactively. He understands each transaction is unique and focuses on details and timelines to avoid unwanted risk and ensure deals are not unnecessarily complicated. Tim draws from his experience closing real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing transactions to provide efficient and effective representation that keeps his clients' deals moving towards a successful closing.

Tim's core work involves:

  • All aspects of the acquisition and disposition of real estate-from letter of intent to closing
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial, industrial and retail lease agreements
  • Borrower and Lender representation in real estate financing
  • Construction and working capital financing and refinancing
  • Shopping center, commercial and mixed used development agreements
  • Long term care facility acquisition, disposition and leasing

Tim represents occasional and serial sellers, borrowers, sophisticated lenders, tenants, landlords and purchasers and developers of land including shopping centers, hotels, industrial facilities, multi-family housing, long term care facilities and condominium and commercial development associations.

Tim received his J.D. cum laude from the University of DePaul College of Law, earning CALI awards in Legal Writing, Real Estate Transactions and Wills & Trusts. He completed a judicial externship in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division. He earned his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Tim lives with his family in the Norwood Park neighborhood on the northwest side of Chicago.
