Horwood Marcus & Berk's Rick Rein served as a panelist at the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) 2012 Fraud Conference, which was held at the Union League Club in Chicago, IL on Thursday, September 20, 2012.

Rick's breakout session was titled "FCPA: Tales from the Front Line: International Corruption Investigations."

This session had the following objectives:

  • Explore the role of the CPA in corruption investigations
  • Review development and implementation of anti-corruption plans
  • Hear lessons learned from personal experiences with corruption investigations
