The state of Illinois' unclaimed property program under the new Revised Uniform Unclaimed Property Act is a little over 6 years old, with various adjustments and changes that have transpired since its inception. This webinar will provide an overview of the program, followed by a discussion of compliance requirements, voluntary disclosure, self-audit and audit practices, along with best practices for escheatment. Representatives from the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office will also provide an update on its reimbursement efforts and overall compliance expectations.
