Marla M. Izbicky has been elected as a 2022-2023 Women’s Bar Association of Illinois (“WBAI”) Officer. She has been a WBAI member since 2015 and has served various roles including Director, Judicial Reception Committee Chair, Civil Litigation Committee Chair and Advertising Editor. This year, Marla will serve as the WBAI’s Recording Secretary. Congratulations, Marla!
Since 1914, the mission of the WBAI has been to promote the interests and welfare of women lawyers and aid in the enactment of legislation for the common good and the administration of justice.
“Now more than ever, women must be champions for themselves and each other,” Marla commented.
Joining the WBAI Officers with Marla is President Lauren Witkowski, First Vice President Whitney Siel, Second Vice President Sarah King, Financial Secretary Katherine Twardak, Secretary of Membership Hayley Graham and Communications & Marketing Officer Jennifer Yu.
This year’s Board of Directors includes Lauren Buford, Stephanie Cueman, Debjani Desai, Cristin Duffy, Kelly Sabo Gaden, Caroleann Gallagher, Kristine Schanbacher, Tracey Schroeder, Jane Sitorius and Molly Condon Wells.
