Samantha K. Breslow | Partner | State & Local Tax
Sam serves as State and Local Tax (SALT) counsel to multinational corporations, multistate middle-market businesses and high-net worth individuals. She advises clients on tax litigation and controversies involving corporate income tax, sales and use tax, franchise tax, gross receipts tax and unclaimed property.
Sam is on the Board of Directors and Chair of the Administration Committee for the Chicago Tax Club. She also serves as the Chair of the State and Local Tax Council for the Illinois State Bar Association. Sam is well-known in the SALT community and is a frequent speaker at esteemed conferences and seminars. Her presentations center around the latest developments in state and local tax, including her favorite topic of sales tax application to software for a service (SaaS).
