Izbicky joined the firm’s growing Litigation and Technology Practices.
Marla is a member of HMB’s Litigation group and concentrates her practice on commercial litigation. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) with a focus on data privacy and cybersecurity.
Marla litigates cases in state and federal courts nationwide on issues including breach of contract, defense against restrictive covenants, trade secret litigation and intentional interference with future economic gain. With a background in defending professional liability cases through jury trial, Marla has significant experience taking and defending depositions and with substantive motion practice, having won numerous motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss and motions in limine.
As a Certified Information Privacy Professional, Marla believes all companies will one day face challenges regarding data privacy and cybersecurity and strives to ensure her clients are in the know and ahead of the curve.
