Horwood Marcus & Berk Adds Trusts & Estates Lawyer Lauren Morris in Chicago

CHICAGO (April 3, 2015) - Lauren Morris has joined Horwood Marcus & Berk's Trusts & Estates practice. She will focus her practice on estate planning, and estate and trust administration. Lauren Morris assists a wide array of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, businesses, trustees, beneficiaries, non-profit entities, and social philanthropists, among many others.

"We are thrilled to have Lauren join HMB's Trusts and Estates Group," said Jeff Zaluda, former head of Horwood Marcus & Berk's Trusts and Estates Group. "Lauren's trust administration background gives her the skills needed to understand that clients wish to pass both value and values down to the next generation. Furthermore, Lauren's experience enhances our already deep trust counsel practice representing trust companies and other fiduciaries."

Before joining HMB, Lauren was a Trust Administrative Officer with U.S. Trust, Private Wealth Management.

"I am very excited to begin working at HMB," said Lauren. "I've been in the industry for a little over four years and know what an amazing reputation HMB has among the estate planning community. I am proud to join the ranks of what I consider to be one the preeminent trust and estates firms in Chicago."

Lauren earned her J.D., cum laude, from DePaul University, and during law school won several awards for her legal writing skills.
