On February 24, 2014, Brian Axelrad participated as a judge at the finals for the University of Chicago Booth School of Business impact investment competition that is part of the MBA Impact Investing Network and Training (MIINT) program.  Run by Chicago Booth's Social Enterprise Initiative, this intramural competition selects the Chicago Booth team that will represent the school in the national finals of the MIINT program.

Run by Bridges Ventures, and conducted in collaboration with the Wharton Social Impact Initiative, the MIINT program is in its third year and under the program, student-led investment teams from top business schools learn to source and conduct due diligence on impact investments, and then compete for the chance to win a $50,000 investment into their selected company.
