Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.

Emerging Lawyer is an honor given by Leading Lawyers, and only two percent of all lawyers licensed to practice law in Illinois can call themselves Emerging Lawyers. Emerging Lawyers are all 40-years old or under or have been practicing law for ten years or less.

Law Bulletin Publishing Company's Leading Lawyers division has been conducting comprehensive research with the purpose of identifying the top two percent of lawyers who are 40 years old or younger or practicing law 10 years or less and have proven themselves professional, ethical and experienced at an early point in their legal career.

Leading Lawyers is a division of Law Bulletin Publishing Company which was founded in 1854. It is the oldest privately held, continuously running business in Chicago.
