Horwood Marcus & Berk's James Jerue presented "Important Issues for Board Members and Board Observers" for the Chicago Bar Association's Subcommittee on Private Equity, a sub-group of the Business Law Committee, on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Jim discussed the legal considerations relevant to venture capital investors who serve as directors or board observers in companies where they or their affiliated investment entities make an investment, with a particular emphasis on personal liability exposure.
