Breen Schiller Appointed Vice Chair of IPT's 2019 Sales Tax Symposium Committee

The 2019 Sales Tax Symposium Committee is responsible for the planning and implementation of the Symposium, including education sessions, receptions and any entertainment and group activities associated with the program. Implementation includes review of prior year evaluations, selection of speakers, and timely procurement, review and submission to IPT staff of required papers and power point presentations for all sessions.

The  Institute for Professionals in Taxation was founded in 1976, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational association serving over 4100 members representing approximately 1450 corporations, firms, or taxpayers throughout the United States and Canada. It is the only professional organization that educates, certifies and establishes strict codes of conduct for state and local income, property and sales & use tax professionals who represent taxpayers (government officials or organizations do not qualify for membership).
