Horwood Marcus & Berk's Lauren Wolven presented "Incentives, Conditions, and Statements of Intent" as part of the American Law Institute's (ALI) CLE Advanced Estate Planning Techniques Conference in San Francisco, CA on Thursday, February 14, 2013. The program took place February 14-15 and covered the numerous changes affecting the practice of estate planners today.

Lauren's presentation included the following topics:

  • Legal limitations on permissible conditions
  • Planning for failed conditions
  • Pros and cons of incentive planning
  • Drafting considerations for long-term trusts
