HMB Trusts and Estates Group attorney Lauren Wolven presented at the 46th Annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning, a conference held January 9-13, 2012 at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, FL. On Thursday, January 12, Lauren and co-presenter Wendy Goffe spoke on "Charitable Gift Planning for Unmarried Couples," a presentation which examined the charitable giving opportunities available to unmarried couples, same-sex married couples and domestic partners.

The Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning is affiliated with the University of Miami School of Law and gathers the nations leading estate planners, trust officials, accountants, insurance advisors, and wealth management professionals.
