Robert J. Schaul

Robert Schaul, an associate attorney in HMB's Business and Finance Group, focuses his practice on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisition transactions and debt and equity financing. He represents start-ups and private equity investors with organizational and capital formation, as well as general corporate, commercial and compliance issues. Robert's financing practice focuses on representing corporate entities in obtaining financing through equity and convertible debt funding rounds, as well as more traditional commercial financing facilities. 

Robert served as outside corporate counsel for a variety of entities, ranging from multinational companies in the healthcare industry to local non-profit organizations. He represented a platform healthcare services company in a sale of a majority ownership interest to a wholly owned subsidiary of a Fortune 100 company and a technology start-up in a licensing agreement with a Fortune 100 company.

Outside of the office, Robert enjoys playing hockey and golf.
