The Best Lawyers in America, the leading referral list in the legal profession, along with ALM, a leading legal journalism and information company, selected attorneys in 79 specialties representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia. According to the methodology section of the report, these top attorneys are “chosen through an exhaustive survey in which thousands of the nation's top lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers.” More than 2.8 million evaluations were provided.
